Hello & welcome to today’s post courtesy of The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team. I so excited to be back with you today sharing a project I created using the Punch Party Stamp Set (155300). This stamp set can be found in the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue and is exclusive available when you achieve Stampin’ Rewards (orders over 200 €/£150). It coordinates perfectly with a few of our favourite punches.
Punch Party Stamp Set
The Punch Party Stamp Set (155300) is fabulous and I feel that it might be a little overlooked being at the back of the catalogue. Nevertheless I want you to get your hands on it. As it is only available with Stampin’ Rewards, why not asks your friends if they are wanting to place an order? Add it onto yours and hopefully reach the 200 €/£150 mark.
Todays Card
Valentines Day is just around the corner and whether you’re a lover or a fighter I hope you supply you with some inspiration. The Punch Party Stamp Set (155300) has perfect sentiments and imagery for this season; but also not exclusively for this. I used just 3 stamps from the set, the largest heart, the solid heart and the sentiment. Stamping is the main feature however I have included a little Ombre on the matted layer.
I created the Ombre effect by using a Sponge Brayer (141714) with Real Red Ink (147084) & a little Cherry Cobbler Ink (147083). The Real Red Ink (147084) coordinates with the Real Red Card (147084) but I wanted a darker tone just to make it pop. After the Ombre is completed you will want to let this dry before embossing. You can speed up this process by using a Heat Tool (129054). Once the layer is dry you will find that the White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (109132) won’t stick to anything other than your stamped images. My images were stamped in Versamark Ink (102283).
Where I had stamped the larger heart shape I placed a stripe of Tear & Tape (138995) down and created a ruffle edge with the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (151326). The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White Card (106549) before being punched out with the Heart Punch Pack (151292). This fit perfectly into the stamped larger heart. To finish the project I used Resin Heart Embellishments (154578).
