Stamping Sunday: Stampin’ Up! Floating & Fluttering Stamp Set

Happy Sunday! Today I am with you sharing some inspiration on how to use the new Gilded Leafing [154560]. I am not alone in sharing some inspiration, todays post is with the Stamping Sunday Design Team. To demonstrate this wonderful product I am using the Floating & Fluttering Stamp Set [154424].

GILDED LEAFING

The Gilded Leafing [154560] is so much fun. Honestly, you’ll be finding it everywhere after brushing of the excess. Not only this but you get so much for your money, this pot will go a long way. Stampin’ Up! also now sells Heat & Stick Powder [156110] that works perfectly with it.

Todays Project

The Floating & Fluttering Stamp Set [154424] is one of my favourites from the January – June Mini Catalogue. This stamp set has some amazing butterfly imagery with a few foliage images. I stamped all the images in Memento Ink [132708]. The reason for this was because I knew I wanted to use our fabulous Stampin’ Blends.

I wanted the focus to be on the colours on the butterflies so that it coordinates perfectly with the Gilded Leafing [154560]. I choose So Saffron [154905], Pretty Peacock [154895] & Pool Party [154894]. As these colours wouldn’t necessarily blend well together, I used a Color Lifter [144608] to apply the colour. By pressing the tips together you can transfer the ink and create a smooth fade to nothing.

The design is easy another to convert into other designs such as this tag. Just be taking a few elements of the main card I have been able to a coordinate project. I took the area from the sentiment and enlarged it by making the So Saffron the base. On the So Saffron Card [108611] I used So Saffron Ink [147109] to create my own patterned paper. I used the Heal Your Heart Stamp Set [155291] which is free with orders over £45|60€.
