TODAY’S PROJECT
From what I remember I had a really cool idea for this colour combo challenge at the start of the challenge. This being said, I honestly cannot remember what it was. It was a little bit of a mad dash last night to create something however it was easy with the Tree Angle Stamp Set [153442]. I am honestly surprised I have used this stamp set more throughout the challenge.
This colour challenge was one that I didn’t think would be that popular, purely due to the colour I selected. I get that Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry doesn’t scream Christmas but it’s a bit of fun. I primarily focused on using the Old Olive Card [106576] for the base as this is the most traditional colour and used the other two. One of the stamps is designed to have two set stamping however I just used it to create the background.
What I love most about the Tree Angle Stamp Set [153442] is the modern take on the Christmas tree. I’ll tell you a little secrete, I tried to create baubles with the triangle shapes but it just didn’t work. You might be able to though and I’d love you see the outcome. In the end I paired the two triangles as trees in the other colours.
