A little about today’s challenge…
Now this challenge has two main avenues you can go down. One being including a bow image or a ribbon bow or to be inspired by gift wrap that you have seen. I mention it a lot that I’m always inspired by gift wrapping.
TODAY’S PROJECT
For today’s card I wanted to focus on the Gift Wrapped Stamp Set [153432] as I received this in an Artisan box however it’s not been used. This stamp set is available as a stamp/punch bundle so this is available for you where you can save 10%. I took one of the smaller bows within the set and created a soft background with Whisper White Craft Ink [147277].
The background was created on some Crumb Cake Card [121685], which I have something to confess. It would appear that I have actually ran out of Crumb Cake Card [121685]. Now every year I always make sure I add a whole pack to an order but it would seem I’ve missed it off recently. Nevertheless I found this little piece of and managed to create it. Of course you could use any colour, I just wanted a little Crumb Cake.
You’ll notice that I didn’t use a sentiment from the Gift Wrapped Stamp Set [153432]. The reason for this was purely aesthetics, I just wanted something a little bulkier to stand in the centre. This is why brought in the Peace & Joy Bundle [155167]. You already know I’m a fan of this stamp set.
