The 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge was designed to get us ready for the festive season, earlier than we might have without it. Each day a challenge is posted with a card that I have created for the challenge. If you are joining the challenge then please share them using the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge or join the Facebook page. Links to both are available below.

A little about today’s challenge…
Another technique challenge – that has come around quickly! Today it is all about Ink Blending. My absolute favourite thing to do of all time. All you need to do is apply ink to card. That is all.
TODAY’S PROJECT
For today’s challenge I really wanted to focus on a returning product Gleaming Ornate Punch Pack [150647]. This was available in last year’s Mini Catalogue and because it was so popular Stampin’ Up! has brought it back! It is available as a bundle with the coordinating Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set [150464] & the Brightly Gleaming Speciality Designer Series Paper [150429]. All our fabulous and you’ll love them.
Rather than use the punches to punch images out I wanted to share with you a different way of using these punches. Instead of using the punched shape I used the positive space left as a stencil. This allowed me to create these amazing ink blended baubles. It’s always fun to find new ways your products. I used Sponge Daubers [141714] to apply the ink.
The shapes created with Gleaming Ornate Punch Pack [150647] were coloured with Poppy Parade, Pacific Point & Daffodil Delight. I overlapped the inked images ever so slightly to create other colours and a little more interest. Due to how much is going on in this small area of the card I didn’t want to add much more. Which is why, to finish I added Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets [147801] randomly dotted around.
