The 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge was designed to get us ready for the festive season, earlier than we might have without it. Each day a challenge is posted with a card that I have created for the challenge. If you are joining the challenge then please share them using the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge or join the Facebook page. Links to both are available below.

So a little about this challenge…
I don’t know about you but I just love a chalkboard effect. Years ago it was all the range so why not celebrate it today in the form of this challenge.
TODAY’S PROJECT
Right I have been waiting for this challenge since day one! I am so happy that it is finally here. This being said I have completely abandoned the idea I had initially and settled on resorting to my favourite Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set [153444]. You’ll also notice that I used the Playful Alphabet Dies [153444], yes again.
I used the Playful Alphabet Dies [153444] to create the sentiment ‘Let it Snow’. It’s so to do, I lined the dies up on my grid paper before using some tape to hold it in place. I would recommend running these through on two occasions, once per line. As you will see from the image these where die cut from Basic Black Card [121688], the white is on the inside is on the base so you have somewhere to write.
Once you have die cut the shapes out this is when you can get creative. I know that I wanted to have the sentiment as the main focus however some more detail was needed. This is where we introduce the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set [153444]. I stamped three of the snowflakes onto the card before heat embossing with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder [109132]. It wouldn’t be a card by me if there wasn’t a little ink splatter.
