Now who else has seen the growing trend on DL size cards? You might remember that I created one way back when which you can see here. They are so much fun to create and gives you some extra room for pattern and detail. Sometimes having the extra space is a little scary but I’d recommend looking at design basics and remember that white space is good. One reason why I was so drawn to the Tree Angle Stamp Set is because of bold pattern print, there isn’t a reason to put much more behind it.
As previously mentioned the Tree Angle Stamp Set has these wonderful bold triangle patterns which are designed to be trees. While we as crafters will no doubt find over uses for them, they are brilliant designed for this job. With the pattern being so bold I knew that these stamps would work so well with colour. Because of this I stamped the images in Versamark Ink and heat embossed in white. This was done on coloured card stock in just a few of our green tones to assist with the tree effect.
