Happy Sunday. I’m really excited today to be with you showcasing the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set. This set is a part of the Plaid Tiding Suite that was release with the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue. This suite also features my favourite pattern paper Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper. You’ll see it a little later on.

With the Stamping Sunday Design Team we have the option to create a staggered design projects or a card with a 3D project. For today’s post I create staggered designs from beginner to a more avid project. The Celebration Tidings is one of the sets that fit multiple occasions however I focused on Halloween. My favourite day of the year.

I started with a super simple project with just Whisper White Cardstock and let the stamps do the talking. For this card I did attempt it with just one layer however it wasn’t enough. With adding another layer it really steps it up. While anyone could make any of these projects this is the simplest.

To step this project up we brought in a few additional elements. The biggest you’ll notice is the card base, you’ll notice I swapped the Whisper White for Smoky Slate. We also stepped the card up by bringing in a few techniques. The Celebration Tidings Stamp Set has coordinating dies which cut out the little spider – Isn’t that fab?

You will see now that I bring in the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper. Doesn’t this one look fabulous? I really love the fun colours within this paper and how it really being an added extra to the more avid project.
