Hello and welcome to July’s One Stamp at A Time Blog Hop. For those of you who are new here, we are a team of demonstrations that gather together once a month to share in creativity. We work to themes so you can get as much as possible inspiration as possible. This month’s theme is ‘Pretty in Pink’, which if you don’t already know is my favourite colour. Today’s card was created using the Prized Peony Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! and is available to purchase from me.
The card is focused around the flowers as these are just the prettiest stamps that I have seen. I spend a little bit of time working out how to colour the image and stamped in many different inks. In the end I settled on stamping the images in Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow. I coloured the flowers in Petal Pink (Light) and Calypso Coral (Light) Stampin’ Blends, by choosing these colour tones it won’t distort from the stamped image itself. For the leaves I used Old Olive (Light) and Mossy Meadow (Light) Stampin’ Blends.
The Prized Peony Stamp Set is a part of a suite collection which means there is a lot of coordinating product available. While I only used the stamp/dies bundle in these projects I sneaked in a few other products in the catalogue. I love how versatile all our products. This also goes with our wonderful selection of colours.
What I have most about the Prized Peony Stamp Set is that it’s available in a bundle saving us 10% of the total price. Right now until August 3rd by purchasing the bundle you’d qualify for a voucher for £4.50/6€ off for the rest of August. That’s something to be excited about right?
I know I cannot wait to see what all the other members on the design team have created. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of pink and not all as subtle as my project.
