Happy Thursday all, we have reached the unlucky for some day 13 in the 30 Day Card Making Challenge. I don’t know why I didn’t think to do some type of Halloween or something like it but it’s too late to change it. Maybe if I do this again I’ll keep it in mind!

The theme for Day 13 is Pack a Punch. This is all about grabbing out your punches and use them! The inspiration behind this challenge was actually me, I have so many punches and just don’t use them enough. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
I knew I had to jump to get the sell out product from last year, the Butterfly Duet Punch. I loved it when this punch came out this time last year and it was so difficult to get your hands on. It’s just fabulous and there’s stamps that coordinate perfectly! I punch multiple of these butterflies out in whisper white and inked the edges with sponge daubers.

The two colours used on the butterflies are Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. My trick on getting super subtle blending is use the ink already on your sponge daubers. Magic right? The best bit is you can recreate these little guys so easy, you’ll have more of them than you do projects to stick them on.

The watercolour background was something I did not have a clue about until recently. I’m sure you’ll agree it’s super effective. I’ve only been able to achieve this with Stampin’ Up! Shimmery White Card Stock. This is the stuff people should be bulk buying believe me! The link to stock up on this amazing stuff is below.
