We made it to double figures! I really hope you all enjoying this 30 Day Card Making Challenge. I know those of you who has scribed to my blog and probably regretting it slightly but hopefully you are baring with me. This challenge is really keeping me busy and I hope it’s doing the same for you.
Today is the next season on the list; Summer. I wanted to keep them in order so that we can travel through the seasons naturally. I cannot wait for summer however the challenge to incapacitate it in a card was hard! Nevertheless this is what the challenge is for.
For this card a bit like yesterday’s I didn’t want to do flowers. This left me a little stuck especially as I didn’t really have anything that screamed summer. What inspired me for this card was more the bright colours found within the Designer Series Paper, everything else fell into place from there.
So I only stamped one element to this card and that was the sentiment. With a lot of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper you will find that on one sided is a pattern print such as the ones used to create the backdrop. On the other are the more image based designs, this is where I cut the flowers and bird from. It makes life so much easier! There’s no colouring involved at all.
Tomorrow I’ll be back with one of my favourite projects so far of the challenge. The theme for tomorrow is autumn and I’m excited to see what am you all come up with. Don’t forget to share using the #30DayCardMakingChallenge!
