Stampin’ Up! Leave a Little Sparkle Stamp Set

I think we all need a little moment to of magic today and for the coming weeks. This is why I jumped at the opportunity to break out a stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. Earlier on in the month you will recall me stamping alone with the girls at Stamping through the Catalogue. They are featuring the Leave a Little Sparkle Stamp Set. The Leave a little Sparkle Stamp Set was one of the first items in my basket. Who doesn’t love unicorns! What I love most about these imagines is you really don’t need a lot to make an impact. Originally I was going to attempt to colour the image in however I changed my mind at the last second and I’m so glad I did.

Rather than making the unicorn image the focal point of the project I kept it rather muted. Instead using some Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper I created an Ink Wash Background using Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight. Once this background was dry I wanted to add a little more detail so I heat set some of the out images such as the stars in white.

This card is brought together with all the other elements I incorporated into the project. You all know by know how much I love the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. It just worked perfect for this card. The Iridescent Sequin just work perfectly to fill in the white area a little. This being said I found it hard to stop adding more and more!
