Okay so I’ve made it to day 2 of the 30 Day Card Making Challenge, I know it’s not much of a surprise but still. We’ve done it. Just wait to see day 30!
Day 2 is our first colour combo challenge, I wasn’t sure how I’d find them but it wasn’t too difficult. The inspiration behind this challenge was the British Flag. It’s just me being ever so slightly patriotic. While I’ve detailed Stampin’ Up! Colours in the main challenge tile I’m wanting to stress to you and anyone else, just use Red, White and Blue. It still counts.
I honestly thought I was making the challenge really easy for myself. This being said I very quickly realised the contrasting colours probably presented more of a challenge than I first thought. To make it slightly easier for myself I just had to use the Poppy does from the Peaceful Moments Dies.
You all probably already knew this but you can watercolour onto Shimmy White Card Stock. It’s super effective and if how I created this awesome background. You should have seen how excited I was on Instagram.
I’ll be back tomorrow for Day 3 of our challenges. You can check out off the challenges here or even head back to Day 1. I can’t wait to see what you make under today’s challenge. Remember to share it under the hashtag #30DayCardMakingChallenge on Facebook and Instagram. The link to follow me on them platforms are below.
