30 Day Card Making Challenge – Day 1

I’m so excited to get this 30 Day Card Making Challenge underway with Day 1. The theme for today is ‘A Simple Thank You’. The whole idea behind the challenge was to get us through this difficult time. However we can’t forget about people who are there helping us out.

With this in mind I wanted to start with us all creating a simple thank you card that can easily be recreated. These could be given to anyone who has made a simple act of kindness at this time. Now there might not be any challenge that you see here which is why I would consider adding some restrictions.

For my project I restricted the amount of time that I had to create the project. I used two brand new stamp set that will be available from April 1st. The Ornate Style and Ornate Thanks just work perfectly together; you can understand why they are in a Product Suite Together.

I stamped the large floral spray in Memento Ink directly onto a Memories and More Note Card. From here I stamped the ‘Thank You’ sentiment in Versamark Ink and heat set in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. As you can see, it’s really simple to recreate and fits perfectly for today’s theme.
