It’s been a crazy few days here, I can honestly say I have never had as many
emails come through in the whole time I’ve been a demonstrator than I have this
weekend! I’m not complaining, you all are amazing and I feel so blessed to have
you all support me in my little world of mayhem!
Anyway that’s the soppy part over and done with, shall we
move onto today’s project? I think so. This one is a little different and I
actually shared the initial idea over on my Instagram account. It was just a
little 4×4 note in Whisper White, I was messing around a lot with making my own
holy leaves but struggled with the red berries. I tried all different kind of
things, red gems, punched circles so many many more. Nothing worked. I actually
spoilt the card as there was a red mark left so I just gave up.

Whenever I’m a little stuck with an idea I always turn to
catalogues for much needed inspiration. I knew about the Christmas Gleaming
Stamp Set before but it didn’t really appeal to me, but I spotted the holy
sprig and I was sold. Normally I wouldn’t just purchase a stamp set for just
one stamp but I did, why not hey? It’s only Christmas once a year. The blends I
used were Mossy Meadow and Real Red, just perfect for Christmas.

a clever colour combo this card really pops. Using colour is actually something
I struggle with, shock I know but I do struggle and most of the time I’ll be
sat messing around with different sheets of A4 until I’m happy. At the start of
the festive season I always by a brand new pack of Crumb Cake Card Stock and by
the end it’s all gone! That how you know you’ve done well.
