Hello hello hello! How are we all this fine Sunday? Today I really the day of rest for me as I’m exhausted after a busy day yesterday with the Pinkies in a special day over in Birmingham. I love days with my Stampin Up Family and mostly spend the day putting the world to right with like minded people. You could be there too and I’d love you too, simply join my team and you can pop along.
Today’s card is actually my swap that I handed to 10 lucky people. This card itself is so super simple to do and to be honest I managed to complete 10 of these in under an hour. I’ve been trying to challenge myself to use some of the amazing colours that I don’t showcase often. Calypso Carol is one of the ones that I love to look at but never use. It’s a bold and strong colour but is softened by the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set.
This stamp set is beautiful and so versatile, just look at how amazing amazing the liner design of the stamp stand out just on its own. This is just in its basic form, you’ve seen me use the stamps before with colour by introducing blends. The limit is only that if your imagination. Think it and made it, it’s that simple.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the amazing Sequins. I’ve had these sat in the story for the last 6 months and just haven’t used them. There’s just been something just not quite right when I’ve considered them before on a project but know I’m using them all the time. I love them and I’m not even sorry for much you will be seeing them in the future.
As I didn’t spend much time with Sean yesterday today’s our day to relax do nothing; even those I have so much to do. Oh funny story though, Sean was given a Scrapbook for his birthday and he’s actually stuck photos in it. I’m so proud of him, but don’t tell him, we’ll just keep this between you and me.
