Happy Hump Day! It’s weekend already and boy knows I’m excited to get there and quick. After having such an amazing weekend last week I’m ready for this one. I have a lot of recording and editing to get into with plenty of examples ready to go. How is your crafting going? Let me know below in the comments.
Today’s card is one that I really liked to start with but there was just something missing for me and I still can’t work out what it is. Even though I’m not 100% on this card I wanted to post it to show that I don’t was getting it right. The lard has gone through two different designs with one being embossed And one without. While this is a small adjustment to the design itself it makes a dramatic difference.
The Floral Essence Stamp Set is one of the items I got as a gift from attending On Stage in April, it’s seems like so long ago and it’s sad that this is the only card I’ve created with the set. I’ll make sure that changes don’t worry. It’s a fabulous set with a wide ranges of floral images and I haven’t even mentioned the adorable sentiments.
The floral stamps have two different styles, more liner line designs and a fuller block designs. The two flowers that I used where some of the block designs but I wanted the leaves to have the same effect. To create these as you’ll see from today’s video, I heat set the leaf stamp onto coloured card stock. This gives me the exact same affect as the flowers.
Now you already know some of my plans for the weekend and I have one more post for this week before coming at you with another Stamping Society post. I can wait. I love my project for it and really can’t wait to have your feedback.
