This week has been so exciting! On Tuesday I received some of the new products that are available in the 2019-2020 catalogue, I very quickly jumped onto Instagram and done a live unboxing. It was super quick because it was Sean’s Birthday and he requested I avoid Stampin’ Up for one day… what he does know won’t hurt him!
Anyway, today is one of my favourite days of the month, it’s time for the OSAT Blog Hop (just in case the banner at the top didn’t give it away). This months theme Fabulous Floral, how fantastic? I use a lot of flowers within my designs over I’m always excited to see what else I could come up with. Of course it was a little overwhelming to sit down and look at the amount of floral stamps that I have but a good all rounder Vibrant Vases came through.
I simply love the little flurry of flowers that I used for today’s card and tag. It’s designed to sit on top of the vases that come in the stamp set but equally stands on its own. What I also love is while this is a relatively small stamp by heat embossing and colouring the Crumb Cake Card Stock with the blends.
The card itself is a standard C6 size (10.5 x 14.8) in good old Crumb Cake. I choose Crumb Cake because I personally love how Blends stand out as well as I just love it with white! It almost has a vintage look to it. I think my favourite part is the splatters. It’s so much fun to do, I used craft ink and a aqua painter to water it down, you just then brush this again the lid and it splatters everywhere.
For the tag the steps are the exact same other than the the shape of it. To create the tag itself I brought in one of my favourite punches; the Everyday Label. Now I cut a strip of Crumb Cake so it could slide into the punch, this measured 3.8cms. Don’t worry it’s all explained in the videos below.
