Can you believe that it’s April Fools Day? That’s right it’s the 1st of April which means today today’s post is dedicated to the next instalment from the Stamping Society. For those of you who are new here, the Stamping Society is a video tutorial package that is available to purchase. You’ll receive 6 video tutorials demonstrating one particular stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Now as always there are two ways of getting the video tutorials for free; by joining my team or placing an order for £19.00.
I’m super excited about the projects in this months, they are just so much fun but what did I expect with such a fun stamp set. Now don’t get me wrong I was a little hesitant when approaching this task as I have only used this stamp set once before. The project for the tutorial I love and actually gave away to my mother for Mother’s Day. It’s super playful and it uses lot of colour! Something that I’m not really known for.
I wanted to continue the fun, playful theme onto today’s blog hop. Again using the Amazing Life Stamp Set as well as the incorporating the brights collection. Nothing says party and celebration more than the Brights collection right?
Taking small 1cm strips of all the colours in the collection other than Gorgeous Grape; just because there wasn’t room. Now there are other ways of creating this effect by cutting block and stamping the image multiple tones before cutting each into strips. This would be the perfect way if you are making multiples and aren’t fussed about the colour order. I however am, I wanted to create the rainbow effect and therefore this wouldn’t work for me. By cutting the strips and securing them down I allowed me to one stamp multiples as well as and then cut them down.
