Howdy hey hey! How are we all? I’m super busy this time of the month finalising all orders and sorting out emails ready to go out at the end of the month. Can you believe it’s nearly April? Before you know it we will be heading towards Christmas again! Where goes the time go aye!
I’m really excited about today’s card and I find myself always excited when I get to use the Time for Tea Stamp Set. I just love these flowers so much so versatile; you’ve seen me use them for Valentine’s Day as well as a Thank You Card so here’s something for a friend. The easiest part about this stamp set is the coordinating Framelits that are FREE with an order of £90.00. You only have until 31/03/2019. Times running out!
So I messed up on the video and didn’t actually say how which blends I used, however I can of course make up for it by letting you all know here now. For the flower I used four yellow tones; Daffodil Delight Light & Dark as well as Mango Melody Loght & Dark. For the leaves just Granny Apple Green Light & Dark. I love blends and I know I’ve told you before how I wasn’t 100% if I would like them but of course I do and you know what demonstrates how much I love them? I don’t touch my more expensive ones that I brought at university. Bold statement but that’s just how I feel.
In good old fashioned video recording the friend sentiment didn’t work well also. My trick was to using the die itself to help place the sentiment down perfectly onto the vellum. While the die is still on the sentiment you can easily draw a faint line around the die to create an amazing shadow effect. Is so so easy (when you are not recording and concerned about the time!)
I asked my team their opinion on this card before adding the Rhinestone as something was just missing from the card. It’s something I love about being part of a team, you can share ideas and ask for advice and get truthful responses. It’s just one family that really help you grow and as individual but as a business.
Now I’m off to finish the Stamping Society post that is coming next Monday! Who’s excited? I’ve seen some of the project and they are amazing and I’m also excited for the project for the hop. Talking about being a team member, did you know you get this subscription for free when you join my team?
