I’m happy to say I’m starting to feel more human now which I’m so grateful for as I’m sure you’ll remember I have a lot to be getting on with. I’m super excited for the upcoming projects and spent the last couple of nights busy crafting trying to get ahead. I find that I make better cards when I’m enjoying what I’m doing and have a clear idea and that it might not go to plan. Exciting things happen when you are excited about what you are doing.
Today’s card is again showcasing another new freebie for orders over £45.00. This time it’s a stamp set and a cute one at that. I always love stamp set that work create amazingly different backgrounds, this of course is one of them. I love these line design and how the actually all line up you create and intricate backgrounds and designs, this card is one way of using them but there’s so many more. Like imagine these stamps with colour? I can!
I was a little scared about double embossing, with either taking the embossing too far or discolouring the white embossing somehow but it turned out okay. I love the effect on how the you have the contrast between the white and the clear embossing, it really makes an impressive and when the sunlight hits the clear and it just pops. The stamps can be lined up perfectly by using the Stamparatus or being a little more careful with your stamping. I didn’t used the Stamparatus for this card because I wanted freedom to stamp where I want as well as not wanting to clean the stamp and reposition it each time.
I always try to keep the videos as short as possible as I know we all need busy lives and time is valuable. This is however sometimes easier said than done, I would have loved to complete emboss the background for you but there just wasn’t time to do that as well as to allow the cardstock to breathe.
I like adding these what is Martin doing next part. I think it lets you into the life of me a little more other than you seeing me as a papercrafter. I’m going to be getting ready for Sunday’s Blog Hop with my fellow Strawberries as well as my next Stamping Society Project and Hop. Super busy with me also having to prepare a little gift for someone leaving at work. I wonder how I’ll include my paper raft abilities into it? Thoughts?
