We are know under a week to the big day and I super excited to have a few days rest with family. This being said with all the busyness of the festive season I have caught a cold and feeling rather sorry for myself! Do not worry though I’m putting my feet up with a hot chocolate as soon as I get home.
Are you ready for a jammed packed card with lots of technical elements? It’s still super easy I promise and my only tip for you is practice make perfect! The first technique I using the amazing Embossing Paste. This stuff I amazing and I’m only using it in it’s simplest form, you can dye it with your ink refills or marker pens and so much more. Watch this space as I know I’ll be using it more in the coming months! For today’s card though I used the mask with the cloud shapes on just to complement the stamp set used. I love it and highly recommend you give it ago.
The second technique used was the balloons and how we created the rainbow affect using the Stampin’ Wrote Markers. I love this technique, it’s such an easy way to create a multicured image without all the hassle of cutting and restamping elements. Even though I know you enjoy it really. The fiddly bits are the best. The only thing I would say here is always start with your lightest colour before moving onto the darker ones. This helps prevent the colours mixing and looking ‘muddy’.
Both techniques are in today’s video below:
We have one more project of 2018, how scary. I’ll be reflecting more on Sunday’s blog but I want you all to start telling me your favourite project I’ve made this year! You can do this by commenting on the post here or on social media. I love hearing from you all.
See you around!
