Lifting Me Up

I’ve had a delivery today and I can wait to get playing! As I said in Sunday video, I’ve ordered Stampin Blends and I’m excited to see what they are like. However today’s card isn’t using them in fact uses the Stampin Write Markers (again I know but they are brilliant).

My favourite thing to do with them is to mix up colour in our stamps, this allows you to get multiples colours on one image. Today’s card is using the Lift Me Up Stamp Set, straight away I knew this stamp set would be perfect for this technique. Using the brights collection I grab Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight & Pacific Point, basically because it’s like circus colours and circuses are fun. I got on with the colouring really enjoying myself and it turned out I stamped the images a total of 13 images, as you can see I only needed the two.

When I ran these through the Big Shot I only ran though the three little clouds on Whisper White. The stamp set has a coordinating Thinlets set Up & Away. When I had all my little bits together I just fiddled around until I was happy with the layout on the C6 card in Crumb Cake. I didn’t want the sentiment to disturb from the clouds or hot air balloons, so I used Stazon and the sentiment “Thanks For Lifting Me Up” along the bottom of the card.
