I had so much fun bringing all these little die-cut blooms to life using the Magical Wisteria Die Set from Alex Syberia Designs.

There’s lots of inking, shaping and layering involved, but I think all that dimension is SO worth it.

The full start-to-finish tutorial is now over on my YouTube channel — just comment WISTERIA below and I’ll send the link straight to you.

Would you have the patience to assemble all those tiny flowers?

Soft lilacs, lots of layers and plenty of dimensio Soft lilacs, lots of layers and plenty of dimension.

I created this friendship card using the Wisteria Die Set from @alexsyberiadesigns, die cutting everything from white cardstock before adding colour with ink blending.

I love how the individual pieces build together to create those cascading flowers, especially with the mix of soft purple tones and fresh greens. I kept the rest of the card quite simple with a striped background, scalloped panel and a few iridescent sequins so the wisteria could really be the star.

There’s a full YouTube tutorial showing exactly how I made this card, from colouring the die cuts through to assembling the finished design.

Watch the full video via the link in my bio.

Would you go for traditional purple wisteria, or try a completely different colour combination?

Autumn in Kyoto with @alexsyberiadesigns I’ve bee Autumn in Kyoto with @alexsyberiadesigns

I’ve been having a little play with the new Autumn in Kyoto collection, designed by Alex Syberia Designs for Spellbinders, and for this card I used the gorgeous Scenic Kyoto Press + Foil Plates.

I really wanted to lean into those autumn colours, so I went with golden orange foliage, soft purple mountains and a rich plum background. I cropped the finished scene into a circle, added an embossed background, some natural twine and, obviously, a few gold sequins to finish everything off.

There are so many lovely little details in this scene to colour, and I love how completely different it could look just by changing the season and colour palette.

From sketch to finished card! I’m joining in with From sketch to finished card!

I’m joining in with this month’s @rosiesstudio Sketch Challenge, using this fun 3×3 design as my starting point.

For my take on the sketch, I used the Simply Charming collection, replacing each section of the grid with a different patterned paper before building up that central panel with lots of florals, foliage and the sweetest little bird.

That’s what I love about sketches — you don’t have to follow them literally. Use the basic layout, raid your stash and see where it takes you!

Fancy giving this sketch a go? Make sure you check out the challenge over at @rosiesstudio.

I’m joining @alexsyberiadesigns today to celebrate I’m joining @alexsyberiadesigns today to celebrate the brand-new Cozy Tea Time Autumn Collection!

For my card, I’ve used the beautiful Magical Wisteria and had another go at no-line watercolouring. Am I suddenly a watercolour expert? Absolutely not 😂 But I really enjoyed building up those soft lilac blooms and fresh green leaves, then pairing everything with kraft cardstock, a subtle blue background and a little natural twine.

I actually love how soft and slightly imperfect the finished look feels — sometimes it’s more about enjoying the technique than getting every tiny petal perfect!
