Hello crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing another card created with the beautiful Bloom with Grace Bundle from Altenew. I absolutely love revisiting older products in my stash, and this bundle is a perfect reminder that great designs never go out of style.
For this card, I wanted to create something fresh, bright, and uplifting using simple colouring and layered die cuts. The bold yellow background paired with the soft greenery gives this card such a cheerful feel whilst still keeping the overall design clean and modern.
Even better, Altenew is currently celebrating older favourites and you can save 35% off the Bloom with Grace Bundle using my exclusive code MARTINBLOOM until June 2nd, 2026.
Why You’ll Love the Bloom with Grace Bundle
The Bloom with Grace Bundle is one of those timeless sets that works beautifully for so many different styles of card making. Whether you prefer clean and simple designs, layered arrangements, or detailed colouring, this bundle offers so much versatility.
The coordinating dies make creating dimensional focal points incredibly easy, whilst the elegant botanical images are perfect for alcohol markers, watercolouring, or simple ink blending techniques.
I also love the uplifting sentiments included in the set. They pair perfectly with encouraging and thoughtful cards and work beautifully alongside the delicate imagery.
Most importantly, this bundle proves that older products can still feel fresh, inspiring, and completely on trend.
Card Inspiration – Happiness Is a Journey

For this project, I wanted the yellow panel to act as a bold backdrop for the botanical images whilst still keeping plenty of white space around the design.
To add texture, I lightly crinkled the cardstock before layering everything together. The subtle distressing gives the card a slightly artsy feel without becoming too busy. I then added black ink splatter to help ground the design and tie all the elements together.
The layered die cuts create lovely dimension, whilst the twine softens the bold colours and adds an extra handmade touch.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Create an A6 white card base and adhere a slightly smaller white mat layer on top.
- Cut a panel of yellow cardstock and lightly crinkle it in your hands to create texture.
- Stamp the “HAPPINESS” sentiment repeatedly across the yellow panel using a slightly darker yellow ink for a subtle tone-on-tone background.
- Adhere the yellow panel to the centre of the card front.
- Stamp the botanical images and bottle images from the Bloom with Grace Bundle onto white cardstock using black ink.
- Colour the images using alcohol markers. I used soft green tones for the leaves and aqua shades for the bottles.
- Die cut the images using the coordinating dies.
- Arrange and adhere the die cuts onto the yellow panel using a mixture of liquid glue and foam adhesive for added dimension.
- Add black ink splatter around the design.
- Stamp and trim the sentiment strips before adhering them with foam adhesive.
- Wrap white twine around the card and tie into a bow.
- Finish with a few clear embellishments for extra detail and shine.
