Hello crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing a bold and cheerful friendship card created with the Hello Friend Clear Stamp & Die Bundle from Hero Arts. I absolutely love how this design combines oversized typography with tiny floral accents for a modern and playful look. The navy background really helps the large “hello” stand out, while the pops of pink, yellow, and green bring everything to life.
This style of card is also fantastic for using up smaller stamped images and embellishments while still creating a project that feels impactful and polished.
Why You’ll Love the Hello Friend Clear Stamp & Die Bundle
The Hello Friend Clear Stamp & Die Bundle is one of those versatile sets that can work for so many occasions. Whether you’re creating friendship cards, thinking of you cards, or even cheerful birthday projects, the large sentiment becomes the perfect focal point.
What makes this bundle especially fun is the contrast between the bold typography and the delicate floral images. You can keep things clean and simple or build up lots of layers and dimension depending on your style.
For this project, I focused on:
- Bold die-cut typography
- Bright floral accents
- Clean layering
- Pops of colour against a deep navy background
- Texture with twine and dimensional elements
Card Inspiration – You Made My Day

For this card, I wanted the oversized “hello” die cut to do most of the heavy lifting while the smaller details softened the design. The floral elements tucked around the sentiment help draw your eye across the card and add a playful finish.
The peach twine was the perfect final touch to break up the straight lines and introduce a little movement and texture to the finished project.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Create a white A2 card base from smooth white cardstock.
- Die cut the large “hello” panel from navy cardstock using the die included in the Hello Friend Clear Stamp & Die Bundle.
- Adhere the die-cut panel onto the front of the card using foam adhesive for added dimension.
- Stamp the small floral images onto white cardstock using bright inks in pink, yellow, and green.
- Die cut the floral images using the coordinating dies.
- Arrange and adhere the flowers around the sentiment panel, tucking some slightly behind the lettering for a layered look.
- Die cut the scripted “friend” sentiment from metallic cardstock and adhere it across the centre of the card.
- Stamp and heat emboss the “YOU MADE MY DAY” sentiment onto yellow cardstock using white embossing powder.
- Trim the sentiment into a strip and adhere it across the centre of the card with foam adhesive.
- Finish the card by adding peach twine loops behind the sentiment for extra texture and movement.
