Your mission today is to create a card that captures a festive party or celebration vibe. This is your chance to bring out the sparkle, the atmosphere, and the energy of the season.
Here are a few ideas to get you going:
• Use cocktail, champagne, or celebratory iconography
• Bring in metallics, sequins, or foiled cardstock for that party sparkle
• Create a warm gathering scene with lights, garlands, or décor
• Lean into bold colours and festive glamour
• Keep it simple and sophisticated — or go full-on Christmas soirée
Today’s Project
For today’s card, I used the Olive Martini Die Set from Spellbinders, and honestly… this set was made for today’s theme.
I created a soft blush background to keep things warm and modern, then built two layered martini glasses using clean white outlines and rich cardstock shades for the “drink”. To give them a festive twist, I added die-cut holly leaves, berry clusters, and bold red bows that wrap around the stems.
A scattering of sequins and gold splatters adds just the right sparkle — like twinkling lights at a Christmas party — while the sentiment “may Santa’s visit bring you holiday cheer” ties the whole celebratory moment together.
This card is playful, elegant, and perfect for anyone hosting (or enjoying!) a little festive mingle this season.
