Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to Day 25 of the challenge — we’ve officially hit Colour Challenge #5, and today’s palette is a dreamy winter trio in collaboration with the wonderful team at Concord & 9th.
We’re playing with Wildberry, Lakefront, and Harbor — a mix that brings together bold berry tones, icy turquoise, and a serene coastal blue. It’s vibrant but still unmistakably festive, and honestly one of those combos that does all the heavy lifting for you.

Daily Challenge

Colour challenges are all about leaning into the personality of the palette:
- Use Wildberry as your punchy statement colour — think stripes, bold layers, or vibrant accents.
- Let Lakefront bring in that crisp winter brightness.
- Ground everything beautifully with the soft, cool tones of Harbor.
- Pair with white to keep the design airy and elegant.
- Try colour-blocked backgrounds, layered die-cut elements, or clean modern layouts.
Whether you go bold and graphic or soft and understated, this palette gives you so much opportunity to play.
Today’s Project

For today’s inspiration, I ended up creating two cards using the Snowflake Season Border Dies from Concord & 9th. Once I started combining the delicate snowflake borders with these bold winter hues, I couldn’t stop — the ideas just kept flowing.
Both cards feature beautifully crisp white snowflake borders layered over a contemporary striped background. The stripes make the Wildberry and Lakefront instantly eye-catching, while the Harbor accents help keep the overall feel cool and wintry. I paired each design with a dimensional sentiment die-cut and a coordinating sentiment strip, adding just enough contrast to make the words stand out without overpowering the delicate snowflakes.
To finish, I added a scattering of sequins for that little touch of sparkle — like frost catching the morning light. The result is a pair of clean, modern cards that feel festive without being overly busy. The Snowflake Season Border Dies are incredibly versatile, and they lend themselves beautifully to either minimal layouts or more layered designs. I honestly could play with them all day.
