Daily Challenge
For today’s prompt, we’re embracing twinkle, in every sense of the word. A few ways you might bring the sparkle:
- Create a star-dusted background with embossing, die-cuts, or splatter
- Add light strings, lanterns, or glowing windows
- Use glitter card, metallic cardstock, or heat-embossed accents
- Add shine with sequins, gems, or glitter paste
- Keep it soft and frosty with pearlescent highlights
Think cosy, magical, winter-evening vibes — or loud and festive glitz. Whatever twinkle means to you, run with it!
Today’s Project
For my Day 24 card, I reached for the Layered Scene Cutting Die Kit from Diamond Press, and it could not have been more perfect for a twinkly, star-filled design.
I built a deep navy sky as the backdrop and added a flurry of tiny die-cut stars and snowy dots to create that magical night atmosphere. The layered landscape in crisp white cardstock brings depth and contrast, while the sparkling silver sleigh and reindeer add the perfect glimmer — capturing Santa soaring through a glittering winter sky.
The finishing touch is a glitter-accented “Merry” sentiment paired with clean, simple stamping to let the scene take centre stage. Elegant, whimsical, and absolutely twinkly.
