Hello crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing a fun and colourful card created with the Mini Delight: Stylish Shades Stamp & Die Set from Altenew. This playful set is full of personality and is perfect for creating cheerful cards that instantly make you smile. I love how the sunglasses become the focal point while the surrounding florals add softness and colour to the design.
For this project, I paired bright pink and blue flowers with a soft blush background to keep everything feeling light and summery. The glasses sit right in the centre of a floral arrangement, giving the card a whimsical feel that works perfectly with the sentiment “hello, sunshine!”
If you enjoy colouring and creating dimensional floral arrangements, this set is an absolute joy to work with.

Card Inspiration – Hello Sunshine Floral Card

For this card, I wanted the sunglasses to feel nestled into a bright floral arrangement, almost like a little crown of flowers. Using bold colours really helps the flowers stand out against the soft pink background.
The addition of white splatter, gems, and a little thread helps give the design movement and texture without taking attention away from the main focal point.
Step-by-step instructions
- Stamp the floral images from the Stylish Shades Stamp Set onto white cardstock using a crisp black ink.
- Colour the flowers using alcohol markers in bright pink and turquoise tones with green leaves.
- Die cut the coloured florals using the coordinating dies.
- Stamp and die cut the sunglasses and colour the frames in a soft pink tone with pale yellow accents.
- Create a soft blush card base and adhere a slightly smaller panel on top for subtle layering.
- Die cut or trim a circle from coordinating cardstock to create a base for the sunglasses.
- Arrange the flowers around the circle to form a floral cluster, securing them with foam adhesive for dimension.
- Adhere the sunglasses over the centre of the arrangement.
- Stamp the “hello, sunshine!” sentiment onto black cardstock, heat emboss with white powder and trim into a small banner.
- Add white paint splatter across the design for extra texture.
- Finish with a few gems and a loose thread detail tucked behind the cluster.
The result is a bright and uplifting card that feels perfect for spring and summer.
