Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to Day 10 of the challenge! Today marks our second Colour Challenge, and it’s another stunning collaboration with Concord & 9th.
Welcome to Day 11 of the challenge! Today’s theme is Frosted Windowpanes — a serene and elegant prompt that captures the quiet beauty of winter mornings. Imagine the world just before sunrise, when the glass is kissed with frost and everything outside feels still, soft, and silver-blue. This prompt invites you to bring that same sense of calm magic into your crafting.

Daily Challenge

Colour challenges are all about playing with This challenge is all about creating the look of frosted glass, soft translucency, and that subtle shimmer that winter brings. Think of how frost creeps across a windowpane or how snow blurs the view outside. Here are a few ideas to explore:
- Use vellum to soften your design and create a window effect.
- Add shimmer cardstock or white embossing for a frosty finish.
- Try layering glitter paste, texture paste, or clear embossing powder to mimic icy surfaces.
- Keep your colour palette light — soft blues, silvers, and whites work beautifully for this theme.
Whether you go for a delicate winter scene or a bold, graphic layout, the key is to capture that sense of icy transparency.
Today’s Project

For today’s card, I turned to a few Concord & 9th favourites — but the Window Wishes Dies truly steal the spotlight. The pale blue backdrop paired with white embossed snowflakes sets the perfect frosty tone. Behind the window frame, a layer of vellum creates that subtle “frosted glass” look, while touches of white texture paste bring the illusion of snow resting on the panes.
The design is finished with the Merry Christmas sentiment layered across the window, accented with greenery and berry elements for a classic festive touch. The balance of softness and structure gives this card an elegant winter charm.
