Daily Challenge

Colour challenges are all about playing with balance and creativity. These shades offer endless opportunities — from deep contrasts to gentle gradients. A few ways to explore them:
- Use Plumberry as your dramatic backdrop for instant impact.
- Let Rainforest bring a natural grounding element through foliage or wreaths.
- Add delicate touches of Lilac for a frosted, wintry softness.
- Pair with white or vellum for contrast and breathing space.
Whether you go bold or understated, this colour combo guarantees festive sophistication.
Today’s Project

For today’s card, I used Concord & 9th Premium Dye Inks in Plumberry and Rainforest to create a bold, modern wreath design. The deep Plumberry background adds instant richness, while the layered foliage in Rainforest gives depth and texture. A few white splatters and sequins add that snowy, festive sparkle.
The sentiment — Fa La La — is cut from Lilac cardstock and layered over vellum for a soft contrast. Smaller stamped words frame the design, keeping it balanced and cohesive. A wrap of natural twine finishes the card with a touch of warmth and rustic charm.
It’s a simple but striking combination of colour and texture — festive, fresh, and perfectly in tune with this challenge’s palette.
