Happy Sunday! I’m so excited to actually feel well enough to sit down and write todays post. I seem to have a huge stack of cards just waiting to be posted but very little time to sit down and do the write-up. I started this card on Christmas Eve on an Instagram live so it long overdue for sharing. Its created using the Happiness Abound Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!
Todays Project
I felt inspired to create a watercolour floral card using blue and brown as the main colours. In my head it was going to look great, but little did I realise how great. The images were stamped in the same ink at that I was going to used to colour it. This mean that the colour did bleed a little however I love the effect.
I stamped onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper due to knowing I that I wanted to water colour. Once I had completed all the elements, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the shapes. If you’ve been here before you know I don’t like white edges where I can help it. I used a Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend to carefully colour the edges. You might not think its worth the effort but I really prefer the look.
