Happy Sunday! Today is slightly different as there isn’t a card in today’s post. It’s all about my craft room and how I store all my ‘stuff’. Yes, there is a lot of it. I wish I could record a full craft room tour but I don’t want to bore you all. So I’m creating small bitesize videos for you to watch. I’m calling it Crafty Corner. I’m starting with my cardstock and how I store it away.
Key Items

All my units are from Ikea and from the Eket collection. I went for these units due to the different styles of units you can get. I store it in one of the cabinets (linked below). I do recommend getting the units with legs as I have found some of the bottom bow due to the weight of the card.

The card sheets are stored in these plastic wallets that only open at the top. These are brilliant as I store both my full sheets of card as well as my scraps in one place. That means whenever I use a colour I take the whole pack out and then I have no scrap lying around. You can fit roughly 50 sheets into a sleeve with a few scraps. I wouldn’t recommend any more than this.

The dividers are really for comic books however work perfectly for cards. You’ll find that are they slightly too small to sit upright as UK A4 will cover it up. I have cut the bottom edge off of mine to enable me to have the poking between the packs. The link below is not to the ones I have however I have found a MUCH cheaper alternative which I’d recommend getting instead. Believe me, I’ll be buying these ones going forward.

I labelled both the dividers and the packs with the colour name. I designed the ones for my Stampin’ Up! card myself however other brands like Concord & 9th (highly recommended) have labels that are often sent out for free alongside bundles. Or you can purchase them. I used these sheets to print them onto: https://amzn.to/3URCIiO

I show in the video the 12×12 folders I have for my 12×12 folders. I don’t really use these however should you require them then the link to them is below.

For my 6×6 paper packs as well as my fluid 100 watercolour paper are stored in a little storage basket. Mine is in grey however I couldn’t find the link to it so here is one in cream. They come in multiple colours, and they fit nicely in the Eket Drawers. Which is why I purchased them originally.

And just like that, that’s everything you need to know about my card storage. It isnt anything fancy however it works perfectly for me. I would love to have the card on show however I am concerned it might get bleached by the sun. At least its safely away.
I hope you enjoyed something a little different for today!
