Happy Sunday! Today I am sharing a project I created for the Fancy Friday Design Team. The theme for last month was ‘Spots or Stripes’. I chose stripes and focused on using them in the background of todays project. As always I haven’t stuck to just one main project however the sentiment is from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set .

Create thoughtful cards for every occasion with the Sending Smiles Stamp Set. Send sunshine to brighten someone’s day, comfort and strength, a note of thanks, or birthday wishes. Whatever the occasion, you can create beautiful cards with heartfelt thoughts that will bring a smile to whoever receives it! This set includes nine versatile sentiments and thirteen images that arrange to create a wide variety of floral designs. Mix and match blossoms, buds, stems, and leaves for new patterns that can be as simple or complex as you like. These stamps are perfect for a single ink and stamp. Create backgrounds, borders, or centrepieces. There’s no wrong way when you stamp it your way! Also available in French and German.
What I love most about this card is the brilliant bite colours. From the Tahitian Tide Card base to the Berry Burst Ink flowers. Colour just brings you joy and Stampin’ Up! are famous for their colours. I have recorded a video tutorial a little lower so you can see just how this card was created.
As previously mentioned I used the Sending Smiles Stamp Set for the sentiment. This is one of my favourite stamps sets of all time. It has amazing sentiments, adorable images & great coordinating dies. What more could you ask for. Honestly if its not already in your stamp collection, add it. Remember there’s the bonus days offer on at the moment as well!
