Happy Sunday! I’m excited to be back today with the Creation Station Design Team. This months we are exploring the theme of Dots & Spots. Well of course my brain jumped straight to the Dots & Spots Die [159164] but I wanted to use it in a more compact way. I paired this die with the Night of Flight Stamp Set & Gorgeously Made Bundle [161203].
If you aren’t already a customer of mine and would like to be, you can request a catalogue here.
Night of Flight Stamp Set
Create all-occasion cards year-round with the Night of Flight Stamp Set. This image-only set features several detailed and realistic moth images in different sizes, ideal for colouring and creative possibilities! Use the image of your choice as the centrepiece of your card front or stamp multiple images to create a card background, then add colour and the sentiment of your choice.
Todays Project
For this project I fell back onto my favourite colour combination, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral & Cajun Craze. I hope you aren’t board of it because I know for sure I’m not. You’ll see in the background to the moth image is where I used the Dots & Spots Die [159164]. I created a simple panel effect to frame the image of the moth.
I added the foliage die from the Gorgeously Made Bundle [161203] to break up the pink colours throughout this card. There’s a lot of pink on it. Also to help this I added the gold through the embellishments and Simply Elegant Trim [155766]. I love the gold tones against the Cajun Craze Card [121683].
