Happy Tuesday! I am being a little risky today by sharing the card I have made for my Mum for Mother’s Day this Sunday. Lets hope my Mum doesn’t pop by to have a sneak peak. Now this card is using a little bit of this and a little bit of that by the stamp set featured is Sentimental Park Stamp Set [160561].

Todays Project

This cards focus was the Alphabet À La Mode Dies [160750] to create the work ‘Mum’. While I wanted these to be focus I brought in the Dainty Delight Dies [160674] to accent the letters. I found the size of the dies and letters worked so well together, working in harmony.

One thing that works for this card is the colour combo. The Night Of Navy A4 Cardstock [106577] as a base can be quite scary however the subtle tones just bring it into place. On the mat layer of Night of Navy I blended on some of the coordinating ink using our Blending Brushes [153611]. This really allowed the white letters to pop more against the base.
