OSAT – Stampin’ Up! Taco Fiesta Stamp Set

Happy Thursday! How is your January going so far? Anyone else broke their resolution yet like me. Hopefully today the One Stamp at a Time Design Team can make it a little happier. This month we are working to the theme of ‘Fresh Finds’, where we highlight our favourite products from the new Mini Catalogue. When I saw the theme, I just had to choose the Taco Fiesta Stamp Set [160732].

Todays Project

I kept these projects really simple but packed a punch with the colouring. Even if I do say so myself… I stamped a group of images from the stamp set in Memento Ink [132708] onto Basic White Card [159228]. When I have lots of images to colour I always batch stamp them in readiness for future projects. I do this so I can sit in front of the TV and colour of an even. Stops Sean from moaning that I’m spending too much time in my craft room.

When creating these projects I struggled to find a base colour that worked well. In the end I settled for Soft Sea Foam Card [147012] and I think I choose right. I see Soft Sea Foam as a neutral colour even though its green. Try and find a colour that doesn’t go with it, I dare you. The background was stamped with the small nacho image just to prevent it from looking to plain.
