Happy Monday! I created today’s card for the Stampin’ Fancy Friday’s monthly challenge which was to use the Memories & More Card Packs. Make sure you follow them over on Instagram & Facebook. Todays Project
If I said I knew what I was doing when I first start this card I would be lying. I started by cutting out one of the speech bubbles from the sheets and using this as a base for everything else. You’ll there is a lot of fussy cutting involved with this card. This being said there is a few stickers from the sticker sheets as well. Other fussy cut elements include the ‘Hello’ sentiment and some of the flowers in the background.
The colours on this project are quite muted and this made it a little difficult to pair s coloured base with it. I looked at all sorts of colours, Balmy Blue, Pool Party, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink. None of them seemed to work though. I was just about to settle on Basic White when I changed at the last second for Basic Black A4 Cardstock [121688]. Black card bases are normally controversial as some people love them and others hate them. I personally love them.
