A Secret Santa Casing – Stampin’ Up! Sweet Gingerbread Bundle

Happy Monday! Today I am here sharing a fun idea some of the current Artisan Design Team had. We wanted to do a Instagram Hop and thought of the fun idea of casing each other but not just that turn a none Christmas card into a Christmas one. We have each cased one person; I was lucky enough to case my dear friend Charlet Mallett. The card I am casing can be found here. You’ll see that I am using the Sweet Gingerbread Bundle [159719].

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Gingerbread Bundle

There’s no better way to sweeten the deal than with the Sweet Gingerbread Bundle, which includes the Sweet Gingerbread Stamp Set and the Gingerbread House Dies.

With both the stamp set and the dies, you can turn your simple gingerbread house into a gingerbread masterpiece! These coordinating products make it easy to add details and dimension. Simply stamp the design and cut it out using the matching die. Add rolling hills (evergreen or snowy), a picket fence, and a cobblestone walkway. Todays Project

This card was so fun to create and there are so many little elements that I just love. I used the Sweet Gingerbread Bundle [159719] to create a gingerbread house design. The house was die cut from Crumb Cake Card [121685] with some white embossing on them. I could have used white embossing for the windows however I felt the Early Espresso Ink [147114] worked better.

The sentiment was embossed directly onto the mat layer which is something new to me. I normally position my sentiments at the highest point of the card whereas this is in the background. You’d think I wouldn’t like it but its not too bad, even if I do say so myself. I did ink blend some Blushing Bride Ink [147100] in the background which did make it pop a little more.
