Happy Sunday! I’m really excited to be back today with the Creation Station Design Team as we explore the theme of ‘Gold’. I started with a distinct idea in my head on what to do for this project and in the end it when sideways a little. Nevertheless I still love the results. I created these cards with the Reasons to Smile Stamp Set [159021].
If you aren’t already a customer of mine and would like to be, you can request a catalogue here.
Reasons to Smile Stamp Set
Bring a smile to anyone’s face when you give them a handmade card using the Reasons to Smile Stamp Set. These cheerful sentiments are the epitome of ease and versatility. Both sentiments fit on the same size block, fit either vertically or horizontally on any standard card front, and can easily be fussy cut. Quickly add extra colour to the image by marketing directly on the stamp before putting it to paper. Whenever you’re in need of a quick pick-me-up or friendly hello card, this set will give both you, and the recipient, a reason to smile.
Todays Project
I adored the Reasons to Smile Stamp Set [159021] the moment I saw it in the annual catalogue. Its just such a beautiful set with some really uplifting sentiments. This isn’t the first time I’ve used this set, but that project is still under wraps at the moment. This being said, I wanted to share an easy way of making an impact with a simple project.
The Blushing Bride Card [131287] base was the second of the two projects that I created. It has to be said though, its my favourite. I wish I could say it was because of the colour itself but Blushing Bride isn’t a normal favourite of mine. What I think works well is the gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders [155555].
If you were to ask my partner, his favourite is the Evening Evergreen Card [155575]. It reminds him of a Christmas card which I completely get. I still think its nice and the recipient will love it either way as its hand made. You’ll need to let me know which one you prefer below in the comments. My favourite element from both projects is the For Everything Fancy Sequins [159187].
