Happy Saturday! I’m so excited to be back today sharing a project I created ages ago. With the house move and this or that coming up its just feel further and further behind. I created this project for a Fancy Friday Challenge – This is an Instagram/Facebook only page where we post fun challenges. This was created using the Kite Delight Stamp Set [157748] for a sketch challenge.
Kite Delight Stamp Set
Create fun handmade cards using the Kite Delight Stamp Set. The set includes kite imagery and heartfelt sentiments suitable for various occasions. The kites come in different sizes and can be used alone or together on your projects. Build a scene with the tail, cloud, and sun images, then choose your favourite Stampin’ Up! colouring tools to add a pop of colour to lift someone’s day!
Todays Project
As aforementioned this was created for a sketch challenge. Now I love a sketch challenge for so many reasons but the main one is it takes the guess work out of it. I only have to pick the product and the colours. The Sketch had this banner in the centre which is adorable, but I wanted to make it as me as possible. With this I used Balmy Blue Card [147007] for the card base and banner shape.
The clouds were cut from Basic White Card [159228] using the Give It A Whirl Dies [154336]. These dies are the bees knees. All the elements have stitching details which are adorable. I love that there are multiple dies in the shapes. You’ll see from the design that I varied the shapes and the positioning of the clouds between the background and the foreground.
