Happy Monday! Hopefully you are having a great day, if not hopefully this will make it a little brighter. I am sharing with you a few projects I created for the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team. I used the Artfully Composed Suite [157765] to create the projects below. Now I used the whole suite only bringing in card, ink and adhesive.
ARTFULLY COMPOSED SUITE
Add lush tropical greenery and soft vintage elements to your paper-crafting with the Artfully Composed Suite Collection. The suite is designed to work together to create loose collage layers and elements. Mix and match the stamped images and greetings from the Artfully Composed Stamp Set & die cut elements with the Tropical Layers Dies. Stamp directly onto the designs in the Artfully Composed 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper, or trim down the paper to create card fronts and layers. Add pieces of the Layering Designs 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Vellum and the Faux Sea Glass Shapes for even more texture and creative options. Tie everything off with the soft White 3/4″ (1.9 cm) Frayed Ribbon.
Also available in French and German.
Todays Projects
When I am given a brief where I have to use all the products within the suite it can be challenging to fit it into my style. Don’t get me wrong I love everything about the suite. My head just goes into melt down with all the fabulousness. I tend to find a starting point and going from there. For these cards I started with the foliage and the water colour effect. I used Evening Evergreen Ink [155576] & Granny Apple Green [147095].
So I am a little obsessed with Cajun Craze, it doesn’t get enough credit for how great of a colour it is. I used the coordinating ink [147085] to stamp the largest image in the background. Now the background was missing something which really bothered me. In the Tropical Layers Dies [157760] there is this little dash lines that cut the pattern into you card. I just loved it. I always say the devil is in the detail.
If you have been here before you know there are two things that I just love. Stitching & circles. If you think I’m joking, go back through my last few posts and see of there is a card where I don’t use either. I bet you can’t. I love the effect the effect of the stitching and I only use a little machine, but it achieves a lot. With the circles I use the Layering Circle Dies [151770] which are a staple! You need a good circle dies in your life.
