Stamping Society – Stampin’ Up Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection

Happy 1^st December! I know I have been sharing Christmas cards since September, but I can officially not feel guilty about it now. Todays Project

For today’s card I went a little over the top. As soon as I saw the two-tree triangle stamps I instantly thought of a sun burst design. I stamped the images onto Pool Party Card [124391] in Versamark Ink [102283] before heat embossing in white. By embossing the image it allowed be to cut the shape out and the ink blend directly onto the triangles. I adhered every other triangle onto Dimensionals [104430] to add additional interest.

Where all the triangles meet in the middle, I did look rather messy. What’s the best way to hide any messes? Stick something over the top. I used the Stitched Stars Dies [150653] to cover the centre of the card. The sentiment was stamped onto Basic White Card [159228] in Memento Ink [132708]. The reason for this was because I wanted to add some Pool Party Stampin’ Blend [154894] to highlight some of the word. This detail just emphasis this.
