Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite
Lush greenery and gratitude go hand in hand in the Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite Collection . Perfect for cardmaking, this collection is a great way to tell them just how much they’re appreciated. Plant gratitude in someone’s life today! This suite collection is also available in French, German, and Dutch.
I have loved the Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite Collection since it was released with the Annual Catalogue (click here to request one). This being said I hadn’t ordered it… Naught I know. The reason why I loved it so much is that it is so on trend, and I know it will make Sean’s birthday card easy.
While I could have created the cards for Sean, I really liked the idea of introducing pink tones. I introduced Petal Pink Card which works well with the Even Evergreen Ink . On reflection I might have reversed the colours so that the Very Vanilla Card and the Petal Pink Card . On the card above I off set the Paper Lattice which I popped up onto Dimensional . You will need to cut these really small.
For the foliage I didn’t you the stamps but instead focused on the coordinating dies. I ink blended onto Very Vanilla Card in Evening Evergreen Ink . By blending onto Very Vanilla Card instead of Basic White Card you get a richer tone. In addition ink blending creates a soft gradient which you wouldn’t be able to achieve without the Blending Brushes.
