Well hello June and hello to you. The first of the month is always an exciting time with the Stamping Society celebrating the release of our latest tutorial. For June we are focusing on the 5 new In Colours that was released with the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. For both the tutorial & todays project I used the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle [155492].
Hand-Penned Petals Bundle
The Hand-Penned Petals Bundle includes the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set and the Penned Flowers Dies. Also available in French and German.
Todays Project
I wanted to take a different angle for each project I created. If you are new to Stampin’ Up! you might not be aware that all our product is designed so the colours match perfectly. That’s right, no more fishing around for the right kind of purple to do with that purple ink. I kept it simple today however and just created a staggered card layer.
The hardest part about this card was all about choosing the order the colours were going to do in. I will let you into a secret though, the order in the catalogue so even that was easy! I used the Penned Flower Dies [155557], that are a part of the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle [155492] to die cut this intricate shape. The Basic White Card [159228] really makes the dies cut shapes stand out and works perfectly with the white stitching.
