Happy February. I don’t know about you, but January felt like a long month. Nevertheless I’m here today to celebrate with he Stamping Society the release of our new monthly tutorial. This month we are featuring out favourite Sale-A-Bration items. Mine is the Punch Party Stamp Set [155300] which you’ve seen me use a few times before. Todays Project
Todays project is smaller than normal, but it was designed to gold a little gift card for Sean for Valentine’s Day. The card itself was created with a scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies [151690]. I created a normal card base and ran that though the Cut & Emboss Machine [149653]. As I positioned the die so that it wouldn’t cut the folder edge the card, we only have 3 scallop edges. To correct this I die cut another and stick on the front.
I created a layer of Basic White Card [159228]. The solid heart stamp from the Punch Party Stamp Set [155300] was stamped in Real Red Ink [147084]. in a repetitive pattern all over the layer. Don’t you just love the possibility of creating your very own patterned paper with stamps? I popped this up on some Dimensionals [104430]. For the sentiment I stamped the ‘For you’ in Versamark Ink [102283] and embossed in White Stampin Emboss Powder [109132]. This was on Blushing Bride Card [131287]. I finished it all with a bow from the Snail Mail Twin Combo Pack [154579] and the odd Rhinestone [144220].
