Happy Thursday! Today I am back with the One Stamp at a Time Design Team sharing in a little more themed creativity. This month we are working to the theme of ‘Where the Wild Things Grow’. I had to take the opportunity to use the Boho Indigo Product Medley [153132]. I’m primarily used the dies that are featured however the stamp set was also used.

For today’s project I really wanted to get that Boho feel from the Boho Indigo Product Medley [153132]. I started with a colour combo to start which differed from the actual product medley. With this in mind I started with Petal Pink, Calypso Carol and Sahara Sand. I later included Mossy Meadow for the plant leaves. While I only used these colours, I only used Very Vanilla Card [106550]. I was able to do this by using our amazing Ink Pads with our new Blending Blushes [153611].

The reason I didn’t use solid colour card was because I wanted a translucent effect. It just helps soften the edges, or at least I think so. The die cut shapes are all from the dies included within the Boho Indigo Product Medley [153132]. I can honestly say you should be buying the medley just for these dies, just look at the leaves! We have a Monstera plant named Wallace and my partner loved this card just because it featured the leaves.

A lot of the detail is from the pattern in the background. I created my own template in order for blend in the colour, its such an effective way to fill a space. Once I had these all blended on the background it was just a matter of bring everything together. I incorporated some Metallic Pearls [146282] just to add a little touch of elegance to it.
