So a little about today’s…
Festive Florals was designed for us to focus one challenge on some fabulous floral imagery. We all love adding flowers to projects so I’m sure this won’t be too difficult.
TODAY’S PROJECT
I run a poll on Instagram and the majority of people agreed that holly counts as a floral. Therefore I’m using it for today’s card. At the end of the day it my challenge and I wouldn’t say it wasn’t. There are a few holly leaf and berry stamps in the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue. For this project a selected the ones from the Sweetest Time Stamp Set [153436].

The reason for choosing these stamps from the Sweetest Time Stamp Set [153436] was because they were a little more playful in the design. With the design of this project I really wanted to pair it right back and keep it really simple. The images were stamped in Shaded Spruce Classic Ink [147088] and Real Red Classic Ink [147084]. This created a pop of colour off the back of the Petal Pink Card [147009].

I used the Playful Alphabet Dies [152706] to create a negative space sentiment. This was popped up onto some Foam Adhesive Sheets [152815]. While the sentiment was die cut from Real Red Card [106578] it didn’t stand off from the card base. To correct this I used Whisper White Card [106549] to die cut the letter again to pop into the letter space. I’m sure you’ll agree that it just finishes the card off.
