The 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge was designed to get us ready for the festive season, earlier than we might have without it. Each day a challenge is posted with a card that I have created for the challenge. If you are joining the challenge then please share them using the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge or join the Facebook page. Links to both are available below.

A little about today’s challenge…
I promise that this isn’t a spelling mistake – it’s supposed to be punny. Today’s challenge is all about using some type of animal images.
TODAY’S PROJECT
You know when you have just one stamp set in mind from day one of the challenge? Well for me it has been all about the Dove of Hope Stamp Set [153406] ever since I thought up this challenge. This isn’t a stamp set that I would normally been drawn to or really use however you just got to love it. I simply adore the amazing dove images.
I knew straight away I wanted to create some type of watercolour background with some texture. The new Water Painters [151298] was used to apply the ink to our Fluid 100 Watercolour Card [149612]. Within the Water Painters [151298] you get 3 different sizes; I used the largest to get the brush marks. I also added some embossed snowflakes also found in the Dove of Hope Stamp Set [153406].
The Dove was stamped in Versamark before heat embossing in Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder [109131]. I die cut the embossed dove out with the coordinating dies Detailed Dove Dies [153526]. Now there are some pretty awesome sentiment in the stamp set however I selected one from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set [150513].
